Hello and welcome to the Volume website where you can keep up to date with all things involving our brand and everything us as a team are up to in the upcoming months.
It’s been a very busy start to the year for the team with our first four events getting released and they’re all biggies!!
This month we are back at, our first home, at The Bullingdon with ‘The Payback’ event which is showcasing the whole team and plenty of upcoming local talent, so Oxford really gets to know how we all work it on the stage.
Next up we have the Valentines Party, February 15th, and we have finally secured the venue we’ve been after for a while in the Oxford O2 Academy!! And what a line up we have for you, with headliners EVIL B vs BLIVE SKIBADEE and ANNIX plus support! So, if you’ve made any plans to take the other half out for Valentine’s Day then cancel them, we’ve got you covered.
But as you may know we here at Volume are not just focusing on events, we’ve finally managed to get our record label up and running. You can expect music from a lot of our friends in the scene and a bit of everything regarding the genres which you all dance to out on the regular. We’re all about versatility here and have a lot of fresh music lined up so watch this space.
In December we started our live streams which are currently happening on a monthly basis, where we have all our residents on rotation, plus guests popping down to supply a bit more heat for the viewers. So far, they’ve been very busy and had good reactions from everyone, so we look forward to bringing you all a lot more throughout the year, keep your eyes peeled!
We currently have a very strong team down at the Volume camp and it’s continuously growing with new artists joining us all the time. Lately we’ve added two new names to the roster and are very happy to have them involved with us. We have DJ/producer Lyfie, he’s a local lad, an old friend and is smashing it with the releases and sets, it only felt right to have him as part of the Volume team. We also now have Jac-R, an oxford local student DJ. He has a nice versatile mixing selection so will fit in well amongst all the other DJs.
It’s always a nice thing when you see your brand getting represented in and out of the rave and we love it when we see the V in all the pictures from the nights.
